Trike world distance record ratified by FAI 2014-09-08
On September 6, 2013 a trike crew with Elena Ostahova as a pilot and Alexander Kuznetsov as a navigator flew 706 km from Byshev (Kiev region) to Koktebel (Autonomous Republic of Crimea), setting the world distance record without landing for a two-seater trike.
In August 2014, almost in one year after the flight, the record has been ratified by FAI.

We congratulate the pilots on the first anniversary of this splendind achievement. Special greetings and best wishes go to Alexander Kuznetsov on the occasion of his 60th anniversary on September 7!

Aeros would like to remind everyone that the record was set on a standard Aeros 2 trike with an optional larger fuel tank, Rotax 912 (80 hp), 3-blade Aerolux propeller and an ordinary kingposted Profi wing.
A trike with a kingpostless Profi TL wing would have definitely performed better, covering longer distance for the same time and consuming less fuel.

It's now your turn to order a trike and break the record. Who is ready to take the challenge?
