Women’s World Hang Gliding Championship 2006-07-14

The 10th FAI Women’s World Hang Gliding Championship was held on May 18-27. The competition took place at Quest Air Flight Park, a private airfield not far from Groveland, Florida. Seventeen pilots from different countries participated in the comps, five of them flying AEROS gliders. Seven cross-country flying tasks have been completed, showing the victory of Corinna Schwiegerhausen from Germany. Kari Castle from the USA won the second place, and Natalia Khamlova from Russia flying AEROS Combat L took the third place. Congratulations to Natalia and other AEROS pilots!
